It has been brought to my attention that a lot of people don’t like using garlic simply because they have a hard time cleaning it. I personally find this a ridiculous excuse not to cook any food, but in the interests of helping spread good flavor, I thought I should post how I do it.
It really is quite simple. Separate the clove from the head. At the bottom of the clove, make a slice most of the way through. You can then use this as a handle and unwrap in one easy piece.
